The AdventurePro Video Festival 2015 presented by the Australian Camps Association is coming soon. Sharing the best adventure based short films featuring Australian and New Zealand outdoor adventure, and those of Aussies and Kiwis adventuring around the globe. Featuring videos as deemed by the team at AdventurePro to be "fresh and exciting family-friendly adventure".
We here at Gondwana are proud to be supporting the festival with a selection of door prizes at this year’s screenings of The AdventurePro Video Festival 2015.
The 2015 festival highlights the passion and spirit people have for the outdoors and outdoor activities through touching narratives, amazing journeys, outdoor education stories and some stunning visuals.
"We believe we have best line-up of locally made adventure based short films ever screened and we want you to see them at their best, so the premiere screening will be in full digital cinema splendour at the Mansfield Armchair Cinemas in Mansfield, Victoria where the winning films and prizes are to be revealed." says Colin Kneebone, AdventurePro’s Client Services Manager.
Entries include short films from well-known Australian locations such as the Glass House Mountains, Blue Mountains, Mount Stromlo, Mount Baw Baw, Tropical North Queensland, the Great Barrier Reef, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, the Tasmanian Wilderness, Winki Pop, Bell's Beach, and Byron Bay. It doesn't just stop there, short films featuring Australians and New Zealanders adventuring and filming in Greenland, Far East Russia, the Grand Canyon, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia, have also been submitted to the festival.
"We weren't sure last year's highly successful event could be topped, but it is clear from the entries we have that we will be putting on an even better show in 2015." says Colin Kneebone, AdventurePro’s Client Services Manager,
It's not just the locations that offer variety at this year’s festival, there's a diverse range of outdoor pursuits being showcased, such as base jumping, sea kayaking, surfing, body boarding, stand up paddling, white water rafting and kayaking, canyoning, paragliding, mountaineering, trail running, rock climbing, highlining, mountain biking, snorkeling, pack rafting, scuba diving, ballooning, and more.
The AdventurePro Video Festival is screening on Saturday the 2nd of May in the afternoon at 4pm and on Sunday the 3rd of May in the morning at 11am morning at the Mansfield Armchair Cinemas (MAC) in Mansfield, Victoria, Australia. It's a relaxed and intimate venue in one of the best adventure destinations in Victoria, so why not bring the family along and make a weekend of it.
Early-bird tickets are Adults $25 each and Children $15 each, when purchased online at www.adventurepro.com.au/videofestival/tickets.htm. If you want to get your tickets at the door, prices are Adults $30 each and Children $20 each, subject to availability.
